Training Objectives and Characteristics: Focusing on the significant needs of the country and the cutting-edge research of aerospace, Small Satellite Class is committed to cultivate leading talents in aerospace for the new era. Led by Academician Cao Xibin and Duan Guangren, the class is based on HIT’s strong disciplines such as aerospace engineering and control engineering, a high-end faculty team and a one-on-one tutorial system withrenowned professors, including academicians and national high-level talents. By upholding the training concept of “focusing on the forefront and strengthening the foundation,” it adopts a customized training model driven by cutting-edge aerospace technology and a project-driven system that is designed with flexibility integrating undergraduate and postgraduate studies. Students are able to choose any high-quality course of HIT and directly participate in the design and practice of small satellite projects through the Lilac Small Satellite Innovation Workshop at HIT.
