Training Objectives and Characteristics: Shanyi Class aims to cultivate leading talents in aerospace. Leveraging three national first-class disciplines in aerospace, mechanics, and materials, as well as the National Key Laboratory of Special Environment Composite Materials Technology, the class is led by Academician Du Shanyi, Academician Han Jiecai, and Academician Leng Jinsong, while over 30 renowned professors and other national-level high-end talents serving as one-on-one supervisors. Characterized by the strong interdisciplinary and deep integration of aerospace, mechanics as well asmaterials, it emphasizes the development of students’ innovative thinking and research capabilities through afocused high-quality curriculum and challenging research innovation practices. In addition, it provides students with opportunities for international exchange, credit recognition, and joint training in Europe, the United States, and Russia through the “4+2” or “3+X” models.
